We woke up to glorious sunshine once again, it's a tough life over here. We have a lot less snow than you all that's for sure. We woke up did the usual, breakfast, sunbathing. Although I feel obliged to say what cherry had for breakfast... 4 pieces of toast, 2 mini croissants, fruit and chocolate cereal. For a little person she can shovel a lot in!

We then went and did some more Sunbathing but today felt so much hotter! So we only managed until just after 12, we then decided to go see some more of koh lanta. So we hopped onto a back of a taxi pickup truck type thing, and for 1500 baht we got taken all around the island, we saw monkeys, an elephant lots of amazing beaches, old lanta town and the outskirts of the jungle! It really is beautiful and the whole island is just dominated by tourism! We didn't realise how it impacted the whole island! The two hour trip allowed us to feel like We have seen and done everything we wanted to on this island!

We came back to the hotel, did some more sunbathing, but it started to cloud over so we only stayed out until about 5. We came in and managed to quickly facetime Lottie!!

For dinner we went for a walk to find the pier so we can get there tomorrow. We decided to try a restaurant on the seafront, however we wished we didn't. Considering all the Thai people we have met so far have been amazing these people were not! They were SO rude, not smiley and just unpleasant! We wished we hadn't stayed there because the food wasn't even that great. I decided to have a sweet and sour chicken- I should have known it was bad when it was called sweed and sour chicken on the menu.. It was so hot it burnt my lips! Cherry was equally as disappointed because hers was unbelievably hot as well. Then to top it all off. They couldn't even split our bill!! Because it is very hard to use a calculator and put in what we say... No need to dwell though!

We then hit the markets again, got some good deals, ches bought some hippy trousers (£4) and I bought a pretty little white dress! (£3)

We are definitely ready to leave koh lanta now. It's a very very quiet island with not much going on! So we can't wait to go somewhere a tad more lively!!
