A nothing day today - literally. I slept ALOT, watched movies, read by the pool and had my laundry done. Had lunch by the pool and dinner at a restaurant right behind the lodge. Did I tell you about the exchange rate here? It's roughly 3500 to 1. So a $500 bill is about 14 cents. Its the smallest bill I've seen and I've not seen any coins at all. So a beer is 7000 (about $2) and dinner is around 40,000 (too high at around $12) and a taxi is 10,000 local and 30,000 to the falls ($3 - $10). There's so many zeros its hard to convert! The bill for the last place I stayed came to something like $420,000. About $120. I'll be back in South Africa in 2 days where it's a little easier and much cheaper at 7/1. So dinner tonight consisted of the toughest steak I've ever had! I literally could not cut it. Because I only had $10 bills instead of $20 they gave me an exchange of 3000/1 instead of 3500. At nearly $20 it was the most expensive piece of leather i've ever tried to eat. I'm going to go back to the falls tomorrow morning and spend some time. And then on to Cape Town Thur morning. Another full day of traveling as its 2 seperate flights and international and because of the lines at Jo'burg airport I split them by more than 4 hours.
