Blog slightly out of date now but hey.......finally leaving hong kong and feel that I've barely scratched the surface. There are in total about 200 outlying islands to explore and, although I made it to Kowloon, it's whole new place in itself. Even down town hong kong would take you months to get to grips with. I went to Macau and it was fabulous. It's basically chinas version of las Vegas. The hotels are all enormous with sprawling gambling halls. I went to the venetian. It's got a network of canals and you cansail round parts of it in a gondola. The shopping was AMAZING obviously designed for all this high rollers!!! I reluctantly had to say farewell to my hosts for the last few days, the Howells. They had a fabulous home in Stanley and i was thoroughly spoilt. Next stop Vietnam (ps this was completed a few days after i started fro vietnam-iv'e stayed in a couple of hotels plus a junk and have not had internet access so not been able to finish it! ) I have taken loads of phots of vietnam so far so will add to next blog x Th above is an exact copy of the boat I stayed on last night! We fished and what we caught for dinner. The whole experience was incredible. will tell more in next blog love x
