We have an apartment!
We had the best lay in this morning, we slept so well and it was so nice getting up in the apartment, it kinda felt like our own home. Chris put some washing on and then we sat in front of the tv on our lovely big leather sofas, curled up with blankies.
We dossed around for the morning and got some more washing done, then we made a tuna salad lunch and went to the beach at 12:45 midday. The beach was really nice, it stretched for miles in both directions. The sand was so soft and the sea was so blue. Even the sky scraping hotels behind us made the beach look good.
We got in the sea straight away and played around for a bit, it was really refreshing. I thought the current was quite strong and could feel it dragging my feet. The underwater camera was working again after Chris dried it out, some how water got in it while we were on the outback tour and it kept steaming up, we thought we were going to have to buy a new one. After twenty minutes we got out, dried off and sunbathed on the beach until the wind picked up and it got a bit chilly. We left the beach at 3pm which I thought was early but the sun was hidden behind the sky scraping hotels by then so we went back to the apartmet and I soaked up the last few rays I could from our balcony. It was actually really nice and very hot! As soon as it was gone it felt chilly again.
We showered and changed then went to the supermarket. We picked up the wrong can of sweetcorn yesterday so we went to change our yukky creamed corn for proper sweet corn. We also got some Weight Watchers chocolate eclairs as a treat for being good on our diet. I know it kinda defeats the object, but we need a treat once in a while, plus they complete what's called a balanced diet right? Balancing the good and the bad?!!
The eclaires went down nicely, infant a little too nicely. Is it still classed as healthy even though we ate the whole box between us? Lol probably not. For the rest of the evening we curled back up in the blankies and watched a film on our lovely wide screen plasma tv.
