The next stop on our whirl wind adventure was Mission Beach, two hours South of Cairnes. The three of us pitched up at half nine at night, to a total ghost town and we were slightly tempted to run back to the bus to let us back on! We spent the following day on the beach, we wanted to hire a Tinny boat to take us to nearby Dunc island but the wind was too strong (probably no bad thing we considering our track record of accidents!) We hired boogie boards and had a bit of play with them in the sea and eating our picnic on the sand. The evening we decided to have a big night out at the infamous Scotty's, the wine was flowing and the food was good, however being the ghost town it was, every pub, club and all other establishment had shut up shop by half ten so it was back to the room. Our next stop is Arlie Beach, an 8 hour bus trip... over and out for now xx
