What a weekend and its only Saturday come on England!!!!
Last night we celebrated Nige's birthday with a helicopter ride above Cape Town. It was absolutely amazing, the skies were clear and the sun was shining and the perspective was extraordinary. You forget how mountainous Cape Town is and how many natural wonders exist in this one city. We took in Table Mountain, the 2010 football stadium, our house, the Apostles, Haut Bay, Chapmans Peak, Simon's Town, whales only a 100 meters from the shoreline and finally the flats and Townships. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
We then went to Ocean Basket on the V&A waterfront for some fish and chips (Kingclip and prawns) - delicious!!!
And then as darkness enveloped us :) we drove out to the Old Oak Road to pick up Cider Green. Cider was probably the smallest of a litter of 8 and beautiful in every sense - she has a lovely nature, a good appetite, is fun and sleeps (definitely a Green). She retired at 9pm and didn't wake this morning until 6am - daddy went to feed her and clean up the nights toilet trips!!!!
Today we have played, slept, played and slept - I have also been out for a run on the beach and a massage!!!! And now its the rugby - so all of the Greens have pulled up a pew in front of the TV - come on England.
Lots of love Cath, Nige and Ciderx
