San Diego........ nightmare city for people with no credit card will power!!!

How is that we are travelling on a "budget" and yet we spend 8 hours at the mall and stagger home with more bags than we can carry? Sorry HSBC bank manager dude.

On the experience of a lifetime front, we swam with the Beluga whales at Seaworld, which was amazing. There were only 8 of us in the group ( nothing to do with the fact that we could have bought a whale for the cost), and we got to go behind the scenes and feed this humungus, drooling, snotty walrus with yummy bleeding raw fish. Then off to our personalised change room to don our sexy sexy wetsuits. Then into the pool with the whales. We got to feed them, play pushing games ( they won), then we got kisses from them and they spat all over us. It was brilliant. We didn't even really mind all the whale snot in our hair or the eau de fish on our hands.

On a personal note, who ever knew what a traumatic experience getting in and out of an insulated wetsuit on a 100 degree day could be?

Next stop trees, hopefully they don't take Mastercard.
