Hey everyone! Finally getting a chance to write this morning! Not tooo much has been happening. We´ve been having a really good time, the weather has been great and walking around this city is awesome. I actually took off school yesterday to go out to lunch witha friend that will be going home today and do just that, walk around Palermo. It´s beautiful. The shopping is probably one of my favorite parts, which is probably not good when we have to go out to eat at least twice a day as well and im tryinggggggg to budget well. I´m emphasizing that word ¨trying¨there with all the g´s. Been doing a lot of shopping though. Ah had a shopping related disaster actually!! Well not disaster but definite story. Me and my roomie Margaux went to the Recoleta markets and basically did market shopping all day which was really fun and artsy and cool but we were exghausted by the end. so we go to take the bus home and its there RIGHT as we get there which is nice and were all happy cause we found the bus and iddnt have to wait and it just worked out as a nice good shopping day. ...or so we thought. We started noticing that the area was looking weird and we didnt seem to be able to find out were we were (and were our stop to get off was) using the map we had. So were just kind of having faith and looking for landmarks, riding the bus. We realize that we arent able to find ourselves on the map because we arent even ON the map anymore!! More and more people are getting off until we are the only people left on the bus and we are completely OUT of the city! The driver pulls into this dirt back alley and we see we are at the bus depot. Not like a bus station but like were the buses sleep at night. in some scary suburb of BA. So i run up to the driver and tell him that we took the wrong bus and dont know what to do and luckily another bus is JUST leaving to go back to Buenos and we had to run to catch that and the guy was really nice and didnt make us pay (which was good cause we had no more centavos) and we had a niceeee longgg bus ride home! It turns out that we were supposed to take the bus across the street from were we got dropped off, which makes perfect sense but did not occure to one at the time!Haha it was great that it happened with margaux though cause we just laughed like ¨what the hell!¨ but quite a day

Today is really rainy, first blah day since the first few days i came here. its so hard to believe im almost half done my trip already!! Compared to Costa Rica this is going by sooooo fast. We were supposed to be going to Uruguay today but alas the rain and some extra sleepy girls vetoed the idea. We would have had to leave 2 hours before any of us even woke up. With all the rain today wé were probably better off not going though. This weekend we´re going to a La Boca football game though!! which im DEFINITLEY looking forward to. The hostel is scheduling it which is nice because the area isnt really taht nice. Its supposed to be amazing to see the games at the La Boca stadium thought so im really excited. Hopefully we can get to Uruguay next week too though! and maybe the beach? Vamos a ver!!
