morning!! woke up this morning with a spectacularly good text message.. Alison Yates is marrying Lee Seddon!!! nice work Lee, you smoothy. Congratulations!
Current location, very pleasant hostel in Melbourne. Meeting Marcello Barbaro this evening, which should be great, and have been under the very capable wings of Jamie and Laura so far which has been lovely.. and of course Greenhalgh had to stick his beak in too..Hello Paul, if you have finally managed to log on, your interest in my trip so far has been touching;-)
anyway, its the best hostel so far, the worst being in yha room 8 Rockhampton, inhabited by "mad Diana" who had messages from god for me, and a few things to tell me about the times she met Jesus. Am pretty sure she may have also been responsible for removing the entire window pane, so it was lovely and warm, but I dared move for a blanket in case I woke her up. It had cost me a 2 litre box of wine to get her pissed enough to go to sleep in the first place, I met others since who had not adopted the sedation technique and endured further misery..so pretty pleased with my quick thinkling.
Loved my time on the ranch, pictures to folow will no doubt amuse, carrie on horse back, carrie rounding up cattle and a motorbike, without me on it because I rarely was. too dangerous to stand in front of me whilst I was on it. teacher said I had no spacial awareness.. No s*** sherlock. Jen, is that what they said when you was learning to drive..? The group was a little quiet on the farm, but I really enjoed myself. totally out of the comfort zone..I love it in Melbourne too, one of best cities I ever visited, and was not going to stay too long, but no word from job yet and so have time to kill, and Jo arrives on Wednesday! I laughed my head off at your messages, hope the wedding was good jen and sal, sarah that message made me wee! lisa I so knew you would locate the yellow clinique bag, and a big HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY to You !!!! have a wonderfull time in venice.. back soon. love to everyone, and a hello to henley hens.. great to hear from you, hope the disaters with the computer are aided somewhat by me not adding to your admin problems.. every cloud has a silver lining.

Brilliant photos of the drinkin games what a good ideas- how much fun can you have with a snorkle and and bottle!!! Well glad you were the best at it i wonder why I am not suprised. All the people look good fun on the photos and jo seems really nice and smiley. You know i like smiley people.Off for half term now and Sal and I are off to wedding on Sunday.I wonder if she will try the bottle and splits or if she will step up the anti with aa new flexible move now she has competition on that front. Wotcha! Ah those photos nearly brought a tear to me eye! It looks like it has a Shipwrecked type vibe to it on the boat community! You are so brave!! Looks like you are having such a brilliant time (in spite of the 'Paddy on the Prowl' writing on the wall behind you!!!!!!! :-) ). Well it's dull and wet in Hindley can you believe?! Hey Carrie jus a quick one from the girls in the office. Sounds like your having a great tme although not heard you mention any kind of work goin on is that cos your afraid of the paper work? The photos are looking good i can't believe tho they let u in the burj in dubai i am very impressed. well by the time you come back you won't have any paper work to fill out, you will be updating your own on the comp so your new found love of the computer from all these messages will keep you in good training. Nothin new here (except the melt down of the office through our "new system" but thats a tale you defo don't want to hear) we are tryin not to watch big brother but of course its proving a little difficult as they are all freaks other than that we are jus keeping an eye on your shananigans and liking what we see. Hiya carrie, sounds like you are having a great time, like the sound of the horse riding, I loved it when I had lessons but there was one problem i was allergic so gave up in the end. Glad you are meeting lots of friends, sal told me you were going out with some irish people. Look forward to seeing your pictures soon. Well popping off to new york on saturday may have more stories to tell than i have in sunny tyldesley. Joy home for 24hours on friday so get to see her before i go. she is off to oz again in June.
