Hi Carrie, how is it going. well I hope. you seem to be having a good time. it was so nice speaking to you on my birthday. Well i think it is one of the best birthdays i have had . had a bloody brilliant weekend. And I was excited from about Thursday night. could not sleep !!!! Mo Jo was absolutely brilliant. jenn is right about that beer . i have eventually realised why i always black out in there. Its the strong beer. A bit like when I was at uni and realised in my last year why I was always drunk off the pangalastic gargle blasters. the hangover on sunday was major. and jenn's right it carried through til Monday. Got some brilliant gifts. Looking forward to receiving yours, jenns and als. Al has been tracking it. its on the ship now. can't wait. saving the best til last. Been majorly busy this week. getting ready for marbella. go on sunday for a week. so excited. went watching football in black horse this week with al, lee, stevo and higgy. i was too full from my tea to indulge in a sausage butty. fancied one. Jenn def. would not have liked the fragrance drifting from the sausages.

Looks like you have friends building up at work too. Sal was brilliant on her nite out but I state the next day was not to be admired- I think we have have discovered the strongets beer ever to be consumed by man in Mojos imported pure alcohol by the state we all got in. hello, did not think I was going to have time to post a message for a while.. only computer I can use at Whayalla is from work and not the best idea to be seen downloading holiday photographs.. So more picks a coming (if you still care) but thought would do a quick update.. Firstly... Margaret Paton... no activity noted from you recently, hope you are good, and have been doing plenty morris visits, buying lots of clothes and booking holidays, miss ya.. and realise now I have actually started work, how much I miss the rest too..I have taken a photo of a grreat cake shop in Melbourne that sold award winning Bavarian slices.. so that pic is for Diane and Charlotte. Respect to the thurs afternoon cake slot. hello to Valerie Ridgeway, and all the thursday dressing crew.. hope mr bishop and mrs kelly are good.!! before I left Melbourne had a great trip to place called Philp Island, and watched the penguins popping out of the ocean at dusk... they waddled up to their little houses for the night and made a right racket while they did it too.. was not allowed to take any photographs, not that i could feel my fingers anyway it was so cold, but thats were i am when you see the wind swept photographs near the coast.. got a few pics of some Chocolate Pigs as wel for Jamie, Laura and Tess.. cant even remember what their real names are anymore!! but the man in charge of the farm said they are really viscous.. told him about you Jamie, cornering one and he shook his head and asked me if you were a pom.
anyway, after almost missing the flight out of Melbourne AGAIN, and being told by Russian taxi driver " in 5 years of being taxi, you are most stupid passenger" I got to Whyalla..my little unit within the hospital is a little grim. photo's to follow, but this week at least I have company, one of the students Shannon is here for a week and another student Libby is down the road. Its Pilates at gym and chicken shnitzels at the pub tonite for us, and a girl from hockey, Melita an electrician from the steel works who has offered me a room at hers, is coming along too.. all good girls. been overwhelmed again by how friendly everyone is, and how people go out of their way to include you. . Australians are so different from us. I am currently in between patients.. location "Cleve" in the outback, (sharp intake of breath used when I heard that word too!) a little hospital that we get posted to every 3 weeks or so.. 10 patients booked in for all day. all mixed up but quite a few nail cuts .... bloody great! no autoclaving , no filing, and we walk up to the bakery at dinner for cakes. nice. Tomorrow, Its the first time I fly out... going to an Aboriginal area called Ceduna..and stay overnight.. its apparantly beautiful, whales seen on the coast at this time of year... I am with the husband tomorrow of the really nice girl that I am with today. They live and work together and dont fall out. how does that happen? apparantly the food is brilliant at the hotel we are at... (own bathroom yeh!!!) but all I care about is that we get to watch the football. its an early start but so what.. wont forget the night of englands 1st match, Oz beat Japan at fed square in Melbourne, or getting up in middle of night to watch 80 mins of 0-0 before I fell asleep, and then the other night seein Harry Kewell miss an open goal at 4am. God he looked good doing it though..Its all memories! I cant sleep anyway here, think everyone knows why.. guilt trip city... but cant really write about that on site if you know what i mean??!! dont know who will read it?? Hi Carrie, just a quick message to say good luck on your first day at work...hope you've not forgotten what to do! Had brill time in Venice, definitely made up for turning 30 and to top it all off they were only bloody filming the new James Bond movie outside our hotel, so had a good gawp at Daniel Craig (much more muscles than you'd imagine) and got away with it cos Dan was too transfixed watchin all the filming! Just got the post sent brilliant cas- nice golden footwear. I like the skimmpey bikini just need the tanned bod to go in now!.The card was great too. Really nice thought carrie!
