me again. not gone to Magnetic Island! found out on the last minute that therewas someone I am not that keen on going too and couldn't stand thought of being cooped up in a car for 7 hours with him, so bailed out and booked myself a trip on my own instead to a ranch to learn how to ride a horse and wade through rivers and muster cattle.. Cant wait.! its a bit off the beaten track, and not many back packers go but I fancied it all along.. Be ready for next years Grand National shortly..anyway.. getting a flight to Melbourne afterwards to go see Jamie, who is taking me to the casino and meet up with Jo from the boat who I made friends with.. Lots of photo's of us both together coming up..liked her immediately when I saw that she was the only other person in airlee beach with her hair straightened. she took a hair dryer on board too, benfit benitint make up, YSL lip stick and a smart blazer for at night.. instant ali. Anyway, not got chance to put photo's on yet because i accidently deleted them from camera, but have got them on a disk, just left that in the room. rubbish..My room mates tonite include a german girl with the worst cough I have ever heard. so that will be great..my throat is already sore..(ailment) from drinking 2 cans of tooheys in one through a snorkel..( I actually won the competition, and beat all the boys, but a Canadian girl did do almost the same, but whilst doing the splits, inspiring, and so then I told the whole boat about my friend Sarah who warms up in the toilets before she does it when we are out, and then started to make people limbo, and last night at the end of show party was doing bit of crowd surfing, but you knew all this would happen already, how bloody predictable) got long 7 hour coach journey tomorrow "too easy" (new expression), so going to go and get snacks now and catch a bad cold from my dorm mate. hello:-) its the day after i got off the boat and still not got my land legs.. swaying as I type.. thanks for keeping in touch, i love getting messages.. gets a bit mad meeting all these new people and them being your "new friends". well, boat trip was something i will never forget.. I was totally unprepared..took a hair dryer, 3 pair of shoes and some smarter casual stuff for on the boat at night. We climbed aboard they took our shoes off us and threw them in a big sack and said we wouldn't be needing them, and showed us to our bunks. no cabin. one bathroom. all in together..28 people, with one minute per day cold shower. at this point though the old carrie would have cried, but it was just so funny i just laughed my head off! it was like an intense big brother thing, and what i couldnt believe was that jamie, laura and paul had never even mentioned all that when they were on board! I sat at the end of the boat for the first sail, we all helped put up the mast, and the boat tipped on its side and i was the only person on the boat sat in totally the wrong place and got drenched.. it kinda went from there..so by 3 days later i had no dry clothes was covered in bruises from tripping over all the ropes and falling off my bunk and loved it!!!! I was really lucky to meet some lovely lovely people, and I am going to leave in a few hours with some of them to go up to magnetic island which seems to be the route we are all on. . not really thinking much about the work thing. just had a call to say that the irish girls i am travelling with are going early and so have to go now without putting my photo's on so will be in touch again shortly if you still interested...god bet your'e bored stiff.. miss you all..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

G'day Sheila, check you on nights out over there with boys - woohoooo!!! Sounds fabulous! Over here the dullness continues! It's another dull, wet Sunday in Hindley - not even been through the door today due to consuming 2 bottles of fizz on the couch last night!! Been indulging in BB since it started on Thursday - it's quite entertaining. Going to dig all my old clothes out tonight for my annual week in Tenerife! Go on Friday so at least next Sunday should be brighter! Having said that, loads of illegal immigrants are being smuggled into Los Christianos port (you know where the nica breakfast place is) and half of them are dead when they are turfing them off the boat. Imagine the smell on the beach!! Will have to keep my bag safe as they will be on the look-out for a steal you can bet and we know how susceptible I am to the ol' bag snatch!! its funny here, I got on the plane and there was this really loud music playing, never known anything lile it, was like a private party, and everyone on the plane was "like" about 18 and doing a gap year. met a nice boy who I got a taxi with and we went out last nite and got too drunk for someone on a boat who had to get out the room at 10am. We ended up in a bar with an oldish oz bloke who kept singin my fair lady songs to me cause i reminded him of eliza doolittle. last nite was probably the most normal nite i have had since i left though ,to be honest, It does get a bit lonely sometimes, and my new buddy chaz helped.. but wont see him again now though, thats just how it is. anyway, survived the hostel, got a photo to prove that I managed to rough it, dont ever think I weill get used to it.. dont understand how people do it alone for so long..and I am going on the boat now without a hair dryer or straightners. O M G!!need to get sme shopping done now, sunscream and plasters, carrying that bloody ruck sack has wrecked my feet!I am sure i am the oldest person in this resort.not bothered:-) all the bloody..
