So it's October 1st, National Day here in China. Everyone gets a one week vacation and most businesses are closed the entire time. Including dentists and doctors.... We were supposed to orignally go to Emei Shan, this beautiful buddhist sacred mountain that has dozens of monestaries, but me and my friend both have become ill. I have a terrible tooth ache that I think might be a wisdom tooth, and she has been having some health issues. Hopefully we both get better so that we still get to vacation this week. If we don't get to leave the city, we'll probably just hang out and see the rest of Chengdu that we haven't seen.

On a happy note, I had duck last night for the first time ever, and my first time got to be at a DELICIOUS chinese restaurant that served duck VERY well. Guess how much it was? $2 a person. Yup that's right, it was the ENTIRE two ducks too. The area that we went to last night, the East Music Park, was really cool too, music was good, sorbet was good, shops were really cute, and everything was very lively.

Next time I'm on hopefully the health issue are gone!
