FINALLY ARRIVED IN CHENGDU AFTER 27 HOURS OF TRAVEL!! 很麻烦！First thing I notice is that it's pretty poluted and it's a pretty huge city =P But cool it's something new, I've never been in a city like this. Took a taxi from the airport all the way to campus, further from the airport than I expexted... Which is pretty good! Get to the foreign student dorms and find out I'd have to pay $1200 for this semester to stay here O.O our advisor told us it would be half of that... So going to try and find an apartment to stay in with some friends from ASU that I reunited with here, or see if I can still get into a homestay... doubtful. APARTMENT SOUNDS COOL THOUGH! =D Met some very nice people here who volunteer to help international students with their first weeks, so awesome! Luyao is great and we have a common interest = Wang Leehom <3. Hearing he's performing in HK in September... must go!! Run around with these wonderful ladies trying to find a power adapter, and when we finally find it its super cheap! YAY! Also, tomorrow I'll be buying a cell phone to keep here so I can contact all of these people. SOMETHING HILARIOUS that happened to me while we were walking around... Two Chinese people came up to me and wanted me to write a note to someone who's bday it was today and who they were surprising later, then they took a picture of me with the note. XD Oh Chinese people are so cute, they were astounded when they found out I spoke Chinese. ^^ Have a lot to do still here in Chengdu before I get settled... But starting Monday, NO ENGLISH.
