Today the girls rehearsed for their final performance today, enjoyed listening to some of the other choirs and competitions and in the evening performed in an open air friendship concert at a village square in West Chester. They performed their popular repertoire which they will also compete with today. They were magnificent. The locals gave them a standing ovation without any Cantabile supporter prompting and constantly commented amongst themselves and to us how wonderful they all were and wished them the best of luck for today. This evening will be the first of the award ceremonies so we will find out how they went in their youth choir competition. I will be sure to let you know. The girls are doing so well considering the heat wave which has hit the area and they have been performing under some sweltering heat conditions. The heat is to return to normal after the weekend when we pack it into any more remaining gaps in our luggage and bring it back home to you.
