Tonight after enjoying an amazing dinner together at a local restaurant in the middle of town, we were treated and welcomed by incredible fireworks from the top of the Macy's building directly opposite the group's hotel. The girls were treated to an absolute direct view from their hotel windows with many of the fireworks actually hitting the windows and building and fizzling. I don't think I have ever been so close to fireworks from the town square where the ash and cardboard from the fireworks were actually falling down on us and all around. They were quite spectacular. If these are the fireworks just to welcome the choirs into town, then we can't even imagine what they will be like tomorrow night for the 4th July and at the opening ceremony in the evening. The town is abuzz and the girls all get to share breakfast and lunch over the next week with the other choirs so it will be so exciting for them. The people of Cincinnati are just so friendly and welcoming and just looooove to hear the Aussie accent. Looks like a fun start to the week ahead. Will keep you posted
