We had a pretty slow morning because Marie needed to sleep in and then we just relaxed by the pool and soaked up some sun. After lunch Marie drove us to another village nearby called Nyons which is very famous for growing black olives. We walked around the centre of the village and came across an artists market so we had a look here before continuing exploring another gorgeous village. We went to the olive factory where you could taste olives and wine and purchase if you wanted. We would have bought some olives if they had smaller quantities because they were extremely delicious!
We had to be back at a reasonable time because Kaci had a table booked for dinner to celebrate Marie's Birthday. So when we got back we freshened up and headed into the centre of Vaison la Romaine for an evening out. This was a very special meal that I will never forget! It was fabulous traditional French cuisine that was very hard to fault. Everything was delicious and we had a lovely evening. We had a night cap in the village square after our meal where there was live music playing and such a great atmosphere. MAGNIFIQUE!
