Hit the ground running in LA through customs by 9am oand on the bus to Hertz to pickup the Mustang hire car we had organised for our big road trip. Found our name on the hertz gold members board and proceeded to bay 328 to find a Mercedes SUV, what a total disappointment. We met the lovely Teah in the hertz office who rectified our problem by upgrading us to a Mustang 5ltr GT with never lost GPS and Sirius radio, we were set.
First stop was to our shipper where we me with Howard his mascot Charlie the British Bulldog and partner Chris. Viewed their facility and picked up the necessary paperwork then started on the road to Vegas.
Stopped at the factory outlets near Barstow for a little shopping and an In 'n' Out Burger snack. We arrived in Vegas around 4pm and went straight to the Premium Outlet stores and shopped for the necessary long pants and tops at unbeatable prices, under $10 for a pair of Lee jeans, we would need these for the trip ahead.
Checked into our room at The Venetian, so comfy, had an early night and enjoyed the comfort of the super soft bed.
