DAY 27: DUMPING TEA INTO THE SEA
More American history to start the day, as we ventured down to the harbour to experience the Boston Tea Party Museum.
Actors in period costume took you through the events of that fateful day before encouraging participants to reenact the main event of tossing the tea into the sea - Josh didn't need to be asked twice, in fact he came back for seconds. What a Patriot!
We then found ourselves back on the Freedom Trail, ending up at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. We then stopped at the other Cheers bar nearby for lunch. We passed a few more sites of historical significance before making the long trek home again through Boston Common, but this time via Newbury St (window gazing at all the high-end shops) before reaching the sanctuary of our hotel.
We've thoroughly enjoyed Boston, it's charm and all its history, but tonight we pack, cause come tomorrow morning: "Start spreadin the news..."
(Somebody cue Sinatra...)
