Today Glasgow and I had a slower start at 8 a.m. because I stayed up until 1:30/2 a.m. getting my Dublin and Homberg excursions squared away, but it will be worth it. Miss. Allison and I went to the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) and got to see an impressive installation piece that took up almost the entire floor of the main floor gallery space. It was layers of different grades of sawdust and other fine grade materials....I thought it looked like a 7 layer cake whose ingredients were all beige-yum. Afterwards we ate lunch at a pizzeria and of course got a delicious pizzas and tea. With leftovers in box in hand, retraced steps from the day before back to a printmaking studio/gallery whose street is also home to a few vintage clothing shops that required our attention. I found a few cute things but didn't get them because I'm holding out for something really special:) or you could just call me stingy....whatever. Nap time. Then started compiling photos and ideas for our design projects, which is to create a design of the name of each city we stay in out of images we find in that city. Got fish and chips at a dingy old place, followed that up with and ice cream, (my dad would be proud) and followed that up ny immediately going back to the hotel to wash my face (my mom would be proud.) Allison-one othe professors on the trip- needed to practice driving before our trek to Arbroath tomorrow and so of course Ashely, Grace, Allison, Don, and I went with for moral support and few laugh and near death experiences-potatoe potatoe:) a few wrong turns and jumped curbs later we arrive back unscathed and got back to work on our projects which I ended up finishing 5 sets of ideas:) all packed to leave tomorrow at 7 a.m. or else "We'll leave your ass." said lovingly by Don Clark.
