Woke up this morning and went to go eat breakfast, but the door to the castle was locked, and no one else was around. So I thought that it would be easy to walk around the side of the cottage, but there is a large doorless fence and connected to that is a large garden and connected to that is a 4 foot tall stone wall. Our caravan of vans left the Isle of Harris at 5:30 a.m. this morning to drive to Tarbert so we could get on the ferry back to Uig again. Happy to report that not only were we on time for the ferry this time, but we were the first people there. I slept the entire 1 hour and 40 minute ferry ride to hop back into the van to start driving the 6-8 hour drive to Arbroath.
