This morning I woke up at about 6:30am, breakfast wasn't until 7:30 am, so we all had a nice lay in. Sam hurt his foot yesterday and he has decided not to attend project today as we have to walk 1.6km to plant our saplings. So I stay behind with Sam, it was quite nice relaxing to be honest.
Breakfast this morning was yummy noodles, boiled eggs and spring rolls. This morning Mia (our jungle rep) decided that Sam needed to see a doctor about his foot, we're taking Amy as well as she has a bad foot. We took a boat and stopped for a drink in the restaurant before we set off, Amy made some local men take her shoes off for her!
We weren't in the doctors for very long, you have to register when you arrive and pay your doctors fee, and we sit on the upper tiled part and wait for our doctor. Sam needed some antibiotics and might not be able to go back to the jungle as it's hard to keep clean. Afterwards we stopped at some shops so we could buy biscuits etc so we all had something as our afternoon snack. I bought some sachets of milo for Sabrina and I as well. We ordered her a birthday cake.
When we got back we had our lunch at the restaurant, we had a lovely lunch of chicken, squash and egg, there was eggplant but I avoided that. We also had some really nice ice tea, I bought Sabrina a cool can of coke.
Today team Pisang planted over 200 trees while we were at the doctors. We aren't working this afternoon as Rob was ill due to dehydration and Sabrina didn't know what time I would be back in the jungle. She's having a snooze in her hammock and snoring.
This evening we had chicken for tea and it was really nice, this evening half of the group went on a night walk, they didn't see any wildlife, I think it might be because of the noise from our camp. When we went to bed Sabrina found a huge bug in her hammock, we both slept really well.
