An eventful day ended in an eventful night, which preceded an eventful morning. We started with a Thai curry for only $5 round t'corner of our hostel, panang curry is the bomb. And so is the Red Curry and Yellow Curry. Bargain. We went on down to Hait street which was the centre of the hippy movement in the 60s, and visited the houses of Charles Manson and Jimi Hendrix. A street that had a drugs salesmen everywhere and the best Music shop we've ever seen, Amoeba Music. It's an artisticly unique place steeped with culture, we declined to part with our hard earned cash as unfortunately we needed to save some dough. On the night we had our first big night out, it started in disaster but soon picked up into a rip-roaring affair filled with gay abandon. It was a neat little venue with live music and cheapish drinks, everyone at the hostel seemed to enjoy it. And on to the eventful morning, which unfortunately cannot be reiterated due to the horrific nature of the event. I am sure you will hear the story at some point....beware.

A late start after a hard day began with a trip down to Golden Gate Park with our newly found Chilean friend and an English copper! Home of the California Academy of science. We did a spot of sunbathing before entry as the weather was outstanding. We spent a fair few hours in the musem with the Acquarium taking most of our time it was visually inspiring. (good call Pete). Before making our way back to free dinner. We retired early and awoke early on the 22nd to watch a rampaging Liverpool smash Wolves and the Villa to produce a defensive masterclass at Villa Park, (Bent you beauty! Bitter bitter Sunderland, I'm Steve Bruce, I'm a f***ing idiot!) Thanks for the messages all remember to live long, and prosper.
