Tuesday 18th Jan

Sorry for the lateness of this blog but we have been very busy over the last two days. Ok then, lets begin about tuesday and what we did. Woke up quite early and we decided to hire bikes and go cycling over the Golden Gate bridge. It was a truly remarkable experience, the photgraphs which we will upload soonish will prove so. The only thing which overshadowed it was Boobs comment,

" Theres Alcatraz", even though their was a bridge coming off of it....basic error on his behalf. After crossing the bridge we continued on and chilled in a very exclusive town called Sauslito before hopping on the ferry back. That evening we participated in a Beer Olympics event with us English and one Aussie (Wolves fan) against USA, Europe and others. We won fair and square to the delight of the delirious masses who were supporting us during the event.

Wednesday 19th Jan

After waking up at around 10am, Christian was particulary hungover but soon woke up on the walk down to the pier where we would jump on another ferry to experience the eerie and secluded surroundings of Alcatraz. We were there for around three hours and one must say, it's a brilliant tourist attraction just like Auschwitz. This was followed by an all you can eat pancake meal, Boob devoured a considerable amount of pancakes in a short period of time. (typical)

On the night we went to a NBA game between San Fran Warriors and Indiana Pacers, it was a tightly fought contest and it ended 110-108. It was a great spectacle eventhough the pomp and grandeur of American sport can be at times too much.
