Since the tours were not running today we decided to explore the ciy and visit some of the museums and other historical builidings. We figured out after about 5 miles of waking and visiting 3 places that EVERYTHING is shut down on Mondays! Just another example of a backwards country that doesn't really support tourism. The coolthing was that the streets vendors are still open along the main drag and it is easy to get a sandwich or sit down and have a drink and watch people walk by. The women of Brasov are um how do I say it... fabulous. They are all thin and pretty. They offer a wider variety of looks than the other three places we have been. I got into an argument with a guy at the hostel over bulgarian women and the women of Brasov, and I know Ivan is ging to kill me, but thewomen of Brasov are better. Maybe its the vampire blood. After walking around Dale went to the market and I decided togo use the internet at a local cafe. While I was there I happened to run into John from the Sofia train and the guy from Bucharest! Not only was he in Brasov, he was staying at the same hostel as us again! What were the chances? The rst of the night we just hung out and talked with the hostelites. Oh and finally we met some more Americans. First Americans on the trip we have met so far. Tomorrow we go see the castles. YAY!
