Gay Maria is off to Suffolk (from Swindon) and I join her tomorrow. (She's meeting friends where we will be staying. Tomorrow they are going to the Women's Wheelchair Basketball quarterfinals in the Para Olympics. (Originally I planned to join them, but "things got different." I will join them for dinner and the trip to Stowmarket, Suffolk. She arrived safely and had a few instructions for my trip on the 4th.

I attended Peter's Rotary Council meeting--we call it a board meeting. I was warned about everyone, at times, talking at the same time. They did. I told them a bit about our second meeting and it's success. They are entertaining associate memberships and have created a few Honorary Members for a year. Everyone one has similar issues with membership. Peter's club has 28 members, including 3 women. Peter is a recycled president after 20 years as well as being a PDG--Past District Governor in Rotary language. All in all they got things accomplished and we exchanged flags.
