Bj's Travel Adventures!
Sunday, Peter took us into the Cotswolds to enjoy the country and see "The Model Village" in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire. It is a 1/9th replica of village handcrafted from local Cotswold stone. It's amazing with its miniature houses, shops, gardens, and trees. It was built in 1937 as a small garden project that has evolved into a tourist attraction. Apparently, according to Peter, it changes as the village changes. The village itself is charming with canals and shops. Lots of tourists as it was another rainless day!
