Thursday was the first somewhat down day. We hung around the house in the morning and planned to spend the day shopping, swimming, and hanging out at Dominical beach.
The beach town was very cute and filled with vendors. We grabbed some lunch at a upbeat bar and proceeded to rent boogie boards. We walked through one of the main strips to do some shopping. We met a vendor that sold animals/figurines made out of local nut shells. We got a snake, frog, horse, tiger, a skater dude, and an anatomically correct couple. I found a bamboo jewelry vendor and got a beautiful blue quartz necklace and pink cat eye earrings.
After shopping, we all went boogie boarding for awhile. The waves at Dominical beach were amazing. We all took turns jumping in to the waves and riding them back to shore. I never knew how much fun boogie boarding was. So much fun all of our arms were tired from carrying the board and running back in to the waves. We had to get the boards returned by 5pm just in time to watch the sunset. We walked up and down the shoreline, looked for hermit crabs in the sand, played aerobie, and took photos with the sun setting in the background.
As soon as the sun set, we headed back to the house for dinner, drinks, and games with the group.
