Last day in Loire. Gabs hogged me to spend time doing homework, visualization etc. Said she wanted me to have a 'gabi' day. Visited villandry castle, huge beautiful gardens, redone early 1900s to represent French gardens. Had a garden for all , cloud garden, sun garden, kids garden, pond, maze, kitchen garden full of vegies and herbs...more. Girls loved it apart from jaz being in the blues due to being left out. Fortunately she snapped out of it, and at lunch all were pumped for salads thinking they would have to be using produce from gardens.
Afternoon of pool and animals. Kids so happy, all playing beautifully - the sand table huge hit with alannah. Turtles too. Gabi wants one. Bettsy knocked up a chicken casserole , I was in heaven watching them down so many veggies!! V relaxing arvo. So good of Madame to let us use kitchen the entire time.
Evening bettsy and I enjoyed gastronomic restaurant , wow it was amazing! 7 courses later. Not sure we'll eat again. Madame picou said they didn't stir!!
