Hi everyone,

So we have made it to Hoi An, after a surprisingly pleasant four hour bus ride from Hue. We got here for dinner time and after some minor confusion about the location of our hotel we found it and settled in. Its a rather nice hotel with a swimming pool, and our bathroom is very nice indeed. (I think even nana would be impressed!)

We rather like Hoi An, its quite oldy worldy, apparently it was one of the few places not totally destroyed in the war so a lot of the older buildings remain. (Esthers been reading the guide book again) So its got a really nice feel to it and literally hundreds of tailors, which ill come on to in a minute. Were here for a few days so were really pleased that we like it.

So we have spent the afternoon trying to find a tailor, esther wanted a very specific style of skirt and all I knew was that I wanted a dress. We have eventually both found something perfect (we hope). We are going back tomorrow to check that it fits, its truly a shoppers paradise though. Its highstreet prices but its all tailor made to fit, in the exact colour and fabric that you choose. The choice kind of blew my mind to be honest, were both just really hoping we like them tomorrow!

So we think we will do some sightseeing tomorrow then head to the nearby beach on tuesday. Cant believe i come home 2 weeks today, i really dont fancy facing the real world again and having to work. We commented the other day on the extravagant life were leading, staying in hotels every night and eating out twice a day! This really is the life!
