Was a great final day in Berlin! I went on the 'Alternative Tour' offered by New Europe Tours. It was a fantastic tour that centered around the incredible street art scene in Berlin, a huge part of the culture in the city. Our guide highlighted important works of art by numerous world-famous street artists, and enlightened us on the state of the scene today.

The tour ended at the famous East Side Gallery, the largest open air gallery in the world (the photo is from a section of that wall). Much of the art on this stretch centered around the importance of freedom.. something that wasn't possible before the fall of the wall. So thus ends my time in Germany! I have to say, I loved every part of the country that I saw.. and would absolutely come back. Will be getting up early to head to Amsterdam, really can't believe I'm getting towards the end of my trip, only 15 days left after today! So Netherlands, here we come!
