I have been terrible getting these entries written lately! Between trying to enjoy my time, writing postcards, writing my own journal, and doing these entries I've certainly been busy! Sadly, I'll be leaving Amsterdam tomorrow, but I've had a fantastic time here. I have to say, I've never seen so many people on bikes in my life! It's incredible how many people in this city ride them everywhere.. there are actually little barges on the water throughout the city that are bike ports!
Amsterdam is absolutely beautiful. There is so much character in every building.. all these narrow tall homes, most of which are leaning or askew in some way.
I've definitely had a great variety of experiences in the city.. from the Red Light District Tour and the Erotic Museum, to seeing the Anne Frank house today. I actually got to see the original diary.. really was wild. And of course, I enjoyed the Heineken experience the other day too. This is absolutely a city I would come back to. A place where history meets the liberal and cutting edge, I've loved my time here in Amsterdam!
