New Years Eve was incredible!
We caught the train in to Circular Quay and got a ferry on the harbour for the 9pm family fireworks. It was lush, we met some lovely people on board and you could hear all the harbour-side parties from the middle of the harbour. They had the most amazing firework of the whole evening on the bridge - it was like multicoloured-fire-rain falling from the bridge.
Afterwards we waited on the Quay for the midnight fireworks, it was seriously busy. They were amazing - the whole sky lit up and there were so many that you couldn't see them all at once. It was awesome, the bridge display was great, and everyone went wild.
Even after the display, the streets were buzzing for hours. It was so busy with crowds walking round the city, shaking people's hands and cheering, buskers, people playing music dancing and raving in the streets…
Plus, there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us back home!
