Christmas Eve was nowhere near festive.

We made mince pies (plenty of brandy - which we forgot to bring to xmas day) & did last minute shopping plus visited friends of Roy & Carolyn's. But it was baking hot and sunny all day - weird!

Christmas day was rainy and gloomy from start to finish, just like home!

Truth be told, this made it feel a little more festive. We spent the day with Carolyn & Roy's family, opening pressies (we got many - including mounds of chocolate), playing dollhouse with Holly (Lou's little girl), eating seafood and cold turkey, and - my favourite - Christmas icecream pudding. Yum Yum!
