The ferry to France was bigger than I expected with full restaurant on board and numerous cafe's, and of course the bar.
We had a full English breakfast and then headed over to the pub for a few.
We ended up chatting to a few o the other people on our tour. Four boys, Brad, Grant, Troy and Matt and a girl who was traveling with them, her name was Bec. They are from Tasmania and are here touring together for the rest of this top deck.
After getting off the ferry it was back on the bus and a four hour drive to Paris which I couldn't even sleep through because I was so excited.
We finally got to our bed and breakfast before getting dressed up and heading out for dinner as a group. We went to a local restaurant where we got to try some of the most famous French delicacies, snails!
They were different to how I thought they would be. Tough, a bit chewy and pretty tasteless apart from the garlic and herb sauce they put on them. All in all, very delicious and go down well with a bottle of wine.
