Hola amigos!

Que bien se esta aqui! (I really like it here) Especially after finding dinner for $2, and it being delicious! Anyway, I ventured out to have a wander, and stumbled across a small park. There was a strange manmade river which people were punting and riding paddle boats on, I sat down under a tree and read my book for a while in the sun!

I then had dinner in a tiny little cafe, for $2 I got rice, chicken, chips, soup, salad and a drink. The soup, im sad to say was awful, when people compare soup to bathwater, i now know what they mean, but the rest was delicious, especially the gigantic handmade chips!

For afters I managed half of a little ice cream thing, basically just ice with strawberry sauce on top, but I predictibly ate all the strawbery stuff first, and i didnt fancy just eating ice on its own much!

La basilica is beautiful, at the top of a steep hill of gardens and benches, in the bright sunlight it was really fantastic. I made a video there, but Im not sure if it has uploaded properly!

So now Ive wandered back to the hostel, so much walking today means I am really quite tired, so I might have an afternoon nap now that Im all full of my dinner! Thank you for all your messages, keep them coming!
