Just a quick overview of what has been happening.
The past few weeks have been busy. Stephen came to visit with his girlfriend Caragh (Cara), he was in Tullow for about five nights, which became 5 nights out at the pub, we were fairly exhausted by the time they left.
Helen and Michaels 9 week holiday finished at the end of September, it was great having them living at the end of the street, we could pop in for a chat and a cup of tea whenever we felt like it. We all miss them being here.
As you will see in the photos we have been to a few new sights, the first was the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipparary, so even though it was a long way I have now been to Tipparary.
That same weekend we went to the Dunmore Caves, similar to caves we visited in Tasmania. They were spectacular, our visit was topped off by our guide playing a haunting tune on the tin whistle in the last chamber.
We had dinner with Don Laughton and his partner Michelle last week (from Beaconhills), it was great to catch up with them and enjoy the local craic, after dinner we listened to a band play at the Teach Dolmien (a pub in Carlow).
The weather has been lovely this past week, so nice that we went to the beach with Pat & Barb on Saturday at Brittas Bay in Co. Wicklow. It was a beautiful sunny day, I think Eamon and Pat enjoyed sitting on the sand and looking at the view.
Otherwise we are both working and saving for our next big trip at the end of December Latvia, Russia and Spain.
We hope that everyone is well
