Went to the Zoo! It was totally awesome, I love cute animals and I was there for about 4 hours going through all the different areas. Also got to watch the sea lions get fed (and throw a fish in), there were some younger ones showing off on the rock trying to get fish, and then every now and again this massive one would just dive onto the rock and slide over it lol. There was also a mother sea lion with a tiny baby that was so cute! By the end I was shattered though (I fell asleep in the planetarium show) and headed back. On Saturday I went to Waterlooplein market with Jenny and Rachel, it was a fun trip but I didn't buy anything..it was like hippy shop, army shop, goth shop, junk shop, repeated lol. Got to eat dinner with the staff which was nice (and free), and have had some really great conversations and debates with martyn. I'm going to miss everyone there and being able to hang out but we have facebook! Today I headed to Centraal Station a little later than I should have, and got the train to Schipol Airport. I got there in good time though, went to the check in desk indicated and waited for around an hour...and then when I got there the guy was like check in for berlin closed 10 mins ago, they were calling...I was like but I've been in the queue! I still don't know how everyone else got there. I had to go round to someone else then get going to the gate, took ages to get across the whole airport and through security and I was just about there when they were annoucing for me to hurry up coz I was delaying te flight! I'm seriously pissed off coz I just went where I was supposed to and queued, and if I'd been further back I would have missed my flight, it was close. The flight went ok, I remember how much I hate flying when it's descending andmy ears are blocked and my eye suddenly feels like its being knifed and it's streaming like heck. Grr. Got the bus from the airport to Alexanderplatz, missed the stop, and wandered round for awhile trying to find the hostel. Got here and was pleasantly surprised by my hostel and room, its super nice! So far theres only me and another girl in my room, I hope it stays that way lol. I got here and was hot and knackered so had a shower and a nap. Annoyingly, this is the first hostel where I need my padlock for a locker and I can't find it anywhere, I'll just have to keep an eye on stuff. So now I'm sat in the bar, drinking my cocktail and talking to Coby. Nice! :)
