As we agreed to go to road trip around the countryside of Cairns. We got up and got ready etc, we need to make start, the earlier the better. As we got very tight schedule ahead the day, the places to visit. Before i start, you will notice a letter with star*** - this is because i forget how spell the places! Ill update those words when i get back to UK. We set off Cairns for K*******, for a browsing around the village also the famous hertigate market. The village is beautiful and spacious, plenty of local shops etc. We went to Traditional Tropical Market, it was very unusual but beautiful, we had to walk down the steps along the Market with palm trees around. We then moved on to Hertigate Market which is filled with Australian style stuffs, for example Kangaroo Furs as rug which I disagree completely!! They even have Kangaroo testicle as bottle opener. We head back to our car and went for M****** to have a spot of lunch at lay bay. Asher and Charlene saw two dead Kangaroo lying on the road, thankfully I didn't see it. We continue our trip to A****** to visit the Crystal Cave and the famous crystal shop. As we arrived there, we decided not to go to the cave as it was man made cave, also quite expensive. So instead we sat down at the Crystal dome, watching hundreds of M****** crystal on the rotating plate. We was so relaxed and it gave us the opportunity to think about everything, our travelling so far, our family and what to do at the future. Without realising, we sat there for an hour, eventually we all decide to buy some crystal (the same crystals that we watched for an hour). We then drove to Y***** to have a look at the famous Fig Tree, as you can see picture above. The tree was amazing, it something that you have never seen. We hurried each other to move on to the last location before the sunset. We went to M***** to visit the M*** Fall, it's an waterfall which is from K****** creek. While relaxing watching the fall, we spotted an Wallibit (spelling error there) on the top of tree. One family brought a telescope and have very close view of it, they offered us to have a peek of it. It was beauitful especially the baby wallibit! We decide to go back Cairns along the route of edges of mountain to have a sight of sunset and mountain on the other side. I praise Charlene for driving all the way around the countryside especially at the edges of mountain which is full of Zig zag, bendy, sharp corner road! As we came back Cairns, we went to restaurant for the taste of Peri-Peri (anyone can guess what restaurant I am talking about?). Charlene and Sara head back to Hostel while three of us stayed behind for couple of pint. Then we return hostel, gone straight to bed :)
