Today we ate some breakfast, checked out of the hotel and went to the Bangkok flower market along the main river in Bangkok. After having a look around there we got on a tuk tuk and followed the river for about 10 minutes. We then got in a taxi and headed back to the hotel. We had some lunch and went for a swim and before long it was time fir us to head towards the train station for our train to Chiangmai. We waited at the train station for a while until the train was ready and then we got on.
It was a sleeper train and there were 4 people per compartment. We met an English family who lived in Queensland who were traveling around Thailand. They said they like boxing and come here to train. The train was quite old and a little strange at first but you sort of get used to it. Each person had there own bed and for most of the night it was quiet, excepting that the lights were not turned off at all. The train ride was approximately 12 hours so many people tried to sleep to pass the time.
