This morning we got up bright and early to catch our morning flight to Singapore. A bit sad to leave Thailand we made it to the airport with plenty of time. At check-in we discovered to our embarrassment that we had booked a flight for the next day. A quick phone call to Jet Star and we were on our way!
We each got a row to ourselves which was great. Once landed we made our way to the hotel in the city. As soon as you left the airport it was pretty evident that Singapore was different to the other Asian cities we had been to. The streets were extremely clean and the streetwise planting was so neat! I know weird thing to get excited about.
We went to the famous Orchard Road to find somewhere to get a bit to eat for lunch. The place we found was a Asian food hall were the food was great and cheap.
After an afternoon nap we washed our clothes and then went to the Newton Circus Food Market were we met Stanley the owner of Sin Sin Seafood BBQ and he was great recommending some food for us to get (sweet and sour chicken and seafood fried rice). After, we made our way around to The Marina Bay area we went to Max Brenner to check out what the store was like overseas. After a quick dessert at max we made our way back to the hotel.
