On Monday night we arrived in Hervey Bay at about half five and decided that instead of getting the free shuttle bus to a hostel, we would walk and get some exercise. Bad idea. This last week has been spent at Humpty Too farm in Bauple with Ian and Nicole Duncan and their two peerie lasses Rayne and Chantal. Wir last three days have been spent at Gagaju Bush Camp. It has been some experience... After getting the Greyhound from Brisbane to Noosa, we were picked up in Noosa by a minibus. The minibus took wis shopping afore taking wis to the camp. For the first time we had to make wir own food, for every meal for three whole days, so we've been living off pasta and bread and cereal. Some of the folk on the camp went a bit mad though and bought stuff like kangaroo steaks...

Yesterday was another nice day. Peggy took me to a place called indigiscapes. They had lots of different walks and gardens so we spent a while just wandering around there. Pointed out by the gardener, I saw my first ever wild snake! It was massive! But thankfully curled up in the sun and sleeping peacefully. Spent Thursday through the day at a massive shopping centre nearby. Didna actually buy anything due to the fact I'm trying to get through this trip with the money I have! Lots of nice shops though.
