This morning started off with the continental breakfast in the hostel, already missing a fry up but the different types of ham make up for it! After breakfast we walked to St Peters Church Tower or 'Alter Peter' meaning Old Peter to the locals. Each flight of stairs up the tower was very narrow with hallow stairs which took some negotiating with other tourists. But 306 steps later it was worth it. The 360 degree outside platform showcased panoramic views of Munich. From the Cathedrals, City Hall, the Glockenspiel, the Olympic stadium, the Allianz arena right across to the Alps. We could view the whole of Munich from here. Next was Lunch, a pastry in one of the beer gardens. After the heat had got the better of us we decided to chill out in the hammocks, in the terrace garden of the hostel. After a few hours of lounging the boys and our new found Brazilian flat mates made there way to the Allianz stadium, to watch Manchester City play at the Audi Cup. Since shopping seemed like a better idea to me I headed back to seek out the tourist shops and see what I could find in town. Off for a few drinks with the brazilians now for our last night in Munich.
