Today we took the metro into town to see the Brandenburg Gate as you can see in the picture. After this we had a walk around the area before going on a tour of the Reichstag Parliament Building. At the top of the building there is a giant glass dome with a walk way that spirals up around the perimeter inside the dome. Which makes for great views of the city. This morning started off with the continental breakfast in the hostel, already missing a fry up but the different types of ham make up for it! After breakfast we walked to St Peters Church Tower or 'Alter Peter' meaning Old Peter to the locals. Each flight of stairs up the tower was very narrow with hallow stairs which took some negotiating with other tourists. But 306 steps later it was worth it. We went on a tour of Munich this morning which lasted from 11am until 4:30pm! Saw the whole of Munich in them 4 hours. Started of walking to see one of the Cathedrals, they are very religious here mainly catholic. From here we went to see the glockenspiel clock on the town hall chime at 12pm, where a little cuckoo clock popped out!
