The following day we got up to head to the main square. This totally changed out opinion of the city. The square was made up of little market stalls, a church and other historical buildings. We also walked to the Castle which overlooks the Danube river. That afternoon we went on a tour of the city that ran from the old town into the new town. Again it was very interesting. Arrived at Bratislava this afternoon, it was only an hours train journey from Vienna. First impressions weren't great the main train station was run down and the hostel was in what looked like the run down part of the city. We wbt out to have dinner at a traditional Slovakian pub.
