Slept till 2! Went to have lunch at Gecko down our street! It was nice! We I only had sandwiches though not Asian food!
Set off walking to the prison at 3, a girl stopped us on the way claiming she was a student from the red cross? Please! You may be fooled by this youthful skin that I was born yesterday, but unfortunately this is not the case!
Hoa Lo Prison cost 25000 (£0.77) to get in!
The prison was huge! It had lots of different rooms telling you about different things! It had famous prisoners including Pete Peterson and John McCain who tried to commit suicide twice in here.
The prison was used for lots of different things! Different wars in different periods of time!
To be honest we did not have a clue about any of the wars and the museum didn't explain it. It explained about the different people so it wasn't very clear.
Something to do with Vietnamese women who sided with the French at some point in time, American pilots that got captured and made to stay there and other wars!
We went into the cells of the prison, they had set up mannequins inside them which was weird. There was different parts, normal big rooms with shackles for your feet (like in the blog picture), small cells, single cells and a place where the bad prisoners would go.
We saw an actual guillotine for chopping people's heads off! It was huge! Michael better not get gobby to me!!
The place where the bad prisoners go was last, there was two cells and they looked similar to the rest. I was taking a photo and I suddenly had to leave. It was like a was being pushed out but not being pushed. Felt like something was there and I wasn't wanted there. I ran straight out shouting at Michael that I would meet him down the walkway.
I don't care if you don't believe me, there is always small minded people who don't believe in anything that isn't tangible.
It was supposed to close at 5 but we left at half past, nothing is very strict here! Walked back to the guest house!
Went for some rice at Lucky restaurant! Got ready then met Tony an Lee at Maos bar.
After a drink Lee gave me a lift on the back of her moped to South Gate Bar, as her and Tony were meeting friends there!
It was very very posh! We are far to common to even step foot in a place like this, 0% travellers and it was real indie style about everything.
Met a couple of guys, including Sean who went to Leeds uni with people from Hull! He took the mick out of us!
We all took the mick out of the DJ! She was the most annoying person in my life at that moment in time! She was stupidly dressed, played stupid music and helplessly drowned when trying to flirt with some guy. Please Darl!
It's really expensive here! Michael wanted wine. Wine really isn't my thing, it's ok, it all tastes like vinegar though (sorry grandad) but maybe drinking the wrong stuff! Not only had cheap stuff though? Anyway we ordered Grenache Rose (Mis en bouteille dans nos caves) something about being bottles in there cellars. Posh vinegar then! It cost 650000 dong (£20 actual english sterling). Kill me now! At Least we all shared it! It was ok.
Got back on Lee's moped and went to flow bar! Having conversations with mopeds next to you down the dual carriage way is funny!
Flow Bar in underneath a hotel, no part of if though so its underground! Never been to an underground club before! It's just how I role ;)
It was hot hot hot! A bit like welly club when the walls sweat and drip on you. Nice. It was ok! We saw a few travellers that we knew! They played good music! Vietnamese boys arnt as good dancers as all the other countries we have been to. All Asian girls dance the same, all aboard the head bob train! the dance floor was packed though!
Got back on Lees moto and went to Phuc Tan Bar (light house bar). Phuc as pronounced like the rude word! I'm easily pleased! Anyway this club was like a big warehouse looking thing! Couldn't even see the dance floor it was so packed everywhere! Went straight outside!
Saw that broken foot boy from the border that I hated, yellow fever has well and truly set in for him! Ladies stay away!!!
Lee and Sean gave me a lift home at about 2!
I then had the struggle of trying to get into the guest house! Had to shout and wake up the guy sleeping to unlock the door and give me the key! I felt real bad!
