A tour of the amazing Angkor temple complex was in store for us today. As a group we decided that it would be lovely to see Angkor Wat at sunrise.Leaving at 4.30am we got on our private tour bus and met our legendary tour leader Yousah! He had obviously been taught English by someone from London, as he had a brilliant Cockney/Khmer accent!!!

We all sat drinking coffee on part of Angkor Wat in the pitch black and waited for the sun to rise. Unfortunatley it was overcast, but it was still great to see the amazing Angkor Wat slowly emerge. After a tour of Angkor Wat we then went to visit the temples of Preah Khan, Angkor Tom, Bantaray Sarei and Ta Prohm (These are hard to describe, so we will put some photos up later when we eventually have a fast internet connection!!)

Through out the day, our guide 'Long'provided us with an array of local Cambodian delicacies, including frog (which we both tried!) Red ants and Snake (which Andy bravely ate!!)

After a hot and sweaty day of temple touring, we then went for a couple of much deserved beers where we visited an amazing hammock bar on the river! We all just lay there swigging beer and had beer and snacks served to our hammock! Bliss!

After a lovely day we climbed back on to the bus, we were suddenly greeted by the smell of poo! We all looke down and saw that somebody must have stepped in it. We followed the trail back to.. guess who......... Andy's seat!!! This had the whole bus in hysterics as Andy stood in the pitch black on the side of the road trying to clean the poo off his shoes and leg!! Bless him!!!!
