Leaving sleepy Sihnoukville behind, we arrived by public bus into Phnom Penh to be greeted by the sight of an over eager taxi driver being kept away from our bus by a policeman wielding a stick and using a tazer on him!!! We checked into our hotel, where Elton John had once spent the night, and then headed for a group lunch. It had to happen at sometime, as be Bex tucked into her vegetable curry she realised that the lump of food that she just chewed was not tofu but in fact Chicken!

We spent the afternoon haggaling at the Russian market and then headed out for a lovely group dinner at restaurant where we sat in the open air on cushions tucking into some delicious traditional Cambodian food.

Our guide, Long suggested that we should head to a karaoke bar, however none of us quite felt that we had the confidence to sing yet, so grabbing a bottle of cambodian's 'finest' vodka and drank it in the tuk tuk on route! Feeling quite merry, karaoke turned out to be a brilliant, we got in the mood and sung our hearts out in our own private room. Andy and Bex even did their own impromptu duet to a song that they had never even heard, much to everyone else's amusement! We finished the night in 'Heart of Darkness' nightclub. Enough said!
