Hey guys!!! First morning in ilchester today with nan! We a little bit of a sleep in ( jet lag is still affecting us :( ) we first went into the village to get a hire car to get around the country side. We rolled up and saw a cool slik looking black looking Audi sports car ( the type of car I would want for a first car ;) ) we went into the office and the man at the desk got our details and let us outside. We where heading straight for the Audi! Then we turned the corner.... And saw our car... A Hybrid. I was thinking we where going to get the cool Audi but we got a Hybrid. Anyway after that we headed off to the Fleet air arm museum next to the royal navel air station. Just down the road from where we are staying. This is the airbase that where the planes and helicopters that are stationed on aircraft carriers and other ships come in for service and repairs. We saw planes and helicopters that where used thought the 20th and 21st century, and a special exhibition of planes from the Falklands war in 1982. Look for the photo of me in front of a helicopter, the severed in the Falklands war,all the red dots on the helicopter are bullet holes, you only see a small amount of the dots on the front of the helicopter but on the side there are alot more! My favourite part of the Fleet air arms museum was seeing the Concorde. A plane that was slik and eligante and flew at super sonic speed that broke the sound barrier. After that we want to Street, think of DFO but outside (but not all clothes and shoe shops :D) I got myself a black and silver leather Halo wallet, a Batman T-shirt and a massive English flag to put on my wall :D. Overall a very fun day!!! :D
