Hi guys!!! Today me and dad where hoping on getting on that bus tour or go on the London eye! But it's was pouring down with rain :(. So me dad decided to go to Westminster Abby. Westminster Abby is the the traditional place of coronations and burials of Kings and Queens of England, and also you will find important people of history such as Isaac Newton (the theory of gravity)and Charles Darwin (the theory of evolution) with memorials for other important people such as Winston Churchill (British war time leader in World War Two, he also has a statue outside the Abby, see the photo) and ShapeSpear (famous play writer).
I thought Westminster Abby was amazing! The amount of detail in each memorial is astonishing! It looks like the stuff you only see out of movies! My favourite memorial design was the nightingale family tomb depicting a husband holding a back the grim reaper coming out of the bowels of hell to protect his sick wife (there will a photo of it,sadly we couldn't take any photos in the Abbey so we got one of the Internet).
After the Abbey we went to Piccadilly Circus took a photo of the statue of Eros with me in it (there should be a photo of it,hahahah I'm going to say this a lot) After that we had a walk along only half of Oxford street, Which is London's main shopping street and is two and a half kilometres long with 300 shops. We went into one of the famous department stores called Selfridges, I bought some cool posters,a new book and a game that was a lot cheaper over here. On the way out I spotted something that caught eyes,a really good toy crossbow and a terminator T-2000 skull. I know what I'm getting next time we go back into London! :D.
After that we had a few hours to spend before we where going to a relatives house for dinner.so we decided to go to the Natural History Museum. To see everything in it would take a hole day! So we just saw the dinosaurs and fossils (and its free to get in :D) we take aload of photos! My favourite dinosaur part was the Tyrannosaurs Rex. They had the first every part of a T-Rex (the bottom Jaw) every found in the world from Montana in America in 1900. It was a very informative day!!! :D talk to you guys tomorrow!
P.S check out the photos! :)
