We left Bangkok on 19/01/07 and headed south, by train, to an island called Koh Samui. The train left Bangkok at 7.30 on the Fri night and did not get into our station until 10 am on Saturday. We had sleeping berths on the train so it was not too bad and it was worth doing just for the experience. We then had to get a ferry out to the Island which took another 2 hours, so by the time we arrived at our beach bungalow we were shattered. We have been here 2 days. Our 1st night here we went out and watched some Thai Kickboxing. Last night (21/01/07) we decided to go out and experience the night life on the Island. Our Bungalow is right on the beach its gorgeous. The ocean is really choppy and not that clean. I had images of crystal clear seas but thats only a minor deatail the rest of island is a tropical paradise.
